John Mortimer is originally from Leeds, UK. He graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Literature. He moved to Asia in 2003 to continue his career in education, firstly in South Korea followed by China and Vietnam where he has lived since 2008.
During more than two decades in Asia John has taught in a wide variety of settings and held numerous management positions. He has also acquired a masters degree in education as well as an MBA (HR) over the past years. He has held the position of head of school at Saigon Star International School since February 2022.
In his free time he enjoys playing padel, golf and travel.
